I'm a secular humanist and an atheist.

As an atheist, I choose kindness, not out of fear of divine punishment or promise of eternal reward. I choose it because it's the right thing to do.

Morality grounded in humanity is stronger than faith dictated by doctrine.

The weakest morality of all is that drawn from the Bible! True morality requires no God!

I got Johnny as a playmate for Misty.

My Foster Kid Ezra

I was only supposed to foster home Ezra for about 2 months. He was a senior cat, and there was no doubt his time was near.

An elderly couple adopted Ezra so he'd have a good life in his last years.

Ezra passed away in October of 2024 at the age of 19. The old boy lived a pretty good life. They spoiled him rotten.

This was Tiger . . .

Tiger was abused by his owner for several years. He was extremely skiddish around people, including me at first.

After about a month, Tiger was sleeping right up on my pillow over my head. He was extremely affectionate.

Little Archie

Archie was Maze's first kitten that only live for 4 days. He was born about 8 weeks too early.
